After my mom saw a vacuum at a retail store she was going to buy, I checked on line for reviews. Not a good deal. She insisted on a Hoover(she's 80 and stuck in her ways) and this product had excellent reviews, was a Consumer Reports Best Buy and a far better price that the one she saw. She agreed and we bought. Came quickly,was extremely easy to assemble and very light-weight. She turned it on to test and it almost vacuummed itself. She loved the almost self-propelled aspect and said it was doing a better job that her tried & true, 15 y/o Hoover ever had. Only wish it had come with a couple bags, but at this price, not a big issue. -- Excellent buy

What can I say it really sucks, a good thing with vacs. Works well so far exactly what I expected it to do from description and cust. reviews. Slightly smaller bags than 19-22 lb. vacs, but I expected that. It cleans well so it is easy to keep vaccing to a min. amt. of crude after going over in the beginning very thoroughly. Stick vac works well for quick pick ups. Have spare belts on hand. Cost of bags, belts and filters reasonable unless I discover in the future that it eats belts, blows out bags or filters at some awful rate. At about a month tho things are going well & bag only changed once. Small house. Tools are adequate, would have liked better upholstery one than it has, but for just under $70, it's still a very good vac. Could not justify buying higher end model at $250 & up, up, looked at other options in retail stores & they functionally, & tool wise were no better than this one, just a few spiffier things like retractable cords, perks not on a basic, model. This one had great reviews from about 1500 people on Amz. alone, can't say the same for more expensive models. So thanks Hoover. -- lighter wt. full size vac

I did a ton of research before buying this vacuum, and so far I have been completely satisfied with my purchase. We've had this vacuum for about six months and use it twice each week across both carpeted rooms and our hardwood floors. This vacuum works great no matter where we use it in the house, and it provides more suction/power than any other vacuum that I have owned personally.

I was a little nervous about buying the Hoover Tempo Widepath after some of the reviews, but I have to say I love it. I have been using it for the last month. It is very powerful and easy for me to move around. I even have to take it upstairs and I don't have a problem. Better than the one that cost me $400.00. -- Love it
