If you're looking for an attachment to remove pet hair via the hose, DO NOT buy the Dyson tool (for $50+). It simply doesn't work. BUT....

We have 2 white, long hair pets and emerald green carpet. I finally found a tool that works! The Hoover Windtunnel Turbo Brush (Part # 40200013) fits the nozzle on my Dyson perfectly. That little sucker CRANKS! The brush spins hard even when it's touching the carpet. It's super easy to unclog the long pet hair from the brush. You squeeze two side buttons, it opens to 2 half pieces, you extract the hair that is wrapped around the brush and it starts whirring again. PLUS, I think I paid less than $10 to get it on eBAY. -- Excellent product - but Dyson Turbo Brush attachment is USELESS! Solution!

We purchased this vacuum cleaner with the hopes that it will outlast the previous vacuum cleaners. Our Dyson is able to keep up with our large family and large dogs. We are amazed at the pet hair it removes and the very fine dirt it picks up. You get what you pay for. Excellence. You will want to vacuum, just to see the results. Rarely does this vacuum get a clog!! -- Execution

Hard to review this product. I think it's good, but it's heavy, loud, hard to handle. It seems to have good suction but only time will tell. -- Strange

Yes, the Dyson will suck up dirt beautifully. But, you need your head examined to buy it: 1. It is positively nasty to clean. 2. It breaks frequently and is a pain to send for repair. 3. The warranty people have to be called at least 3 times to get a response like where to go for repairs or where to send. My experiences with all other products via Amazon have beed great, but not this item. -- Consumer
