What amazed us about this vacuum is for only being 17 lbs it has amazing power and suction. It has the suction tube in the middle of the nozzle so will deep clean your carpet and have suction all the way across the head. The 1500xp model has its tools on board with on board hose, extension wand, crevice tool, and duster/upholstry brush. If you have pet hair then this vacuum is for you. It comes with the Pet tool mini head (see picture) that works great for vacuuming up pet hair on upholstery. The brushroll is also stiff enough to vacuum up pet hair.
