This machine is designed for commercial applications such as hotels, cleaning services, restaurants, office buildings, apartment complexes, and many other commercial applications. The C1431 has a 4 position height adjustment, allowing to easily clean all types of carpets, from Berber, to thick plush carpets, even oriental rugs. The Guardsman C1431 comes with a steel agitator for durability, and has 2 replaceable brush strips, so when the brushes wear down, instead of replacing the entire brush roller, you simply slide the brush strips out, and replace only the brush. Hoover has increased the warranty on these machines to a 3 year parts and labor commercial warranty. This machine takes Hoover Type A Bags, and Hoover Belt # 40201048.
